Maple
Hot Blonde
Acer oliverianum
An exceptional, fast-growing upright maple designed specifically to dominate in high-heat environments. 'Hot Blonde' breaks the mold for yellow-leafed maples, showcasing elite heat tolerance. In early spring, the foliage emerges an intense, glowing golden-yellow dramatically outlined with a unique orange perimeter. As summer peaks, it settles into a bright, luminous chartreuse-yellow that resists fading or burning, culminating in a brilliant display of fiery orange-red in the autumn.

- HISTORY
- Discovered and selected by Matt and Tim Nichols of MrMaple from a batch of unique Acer oliverianum seeds sourced from specialist collectors. Landscape Usage
Ideal for adding a bright, architectural focal point to a prominent garden bed, framing a modern walkway, or utilizing as a high-visibility sun-tolerant accent tree.
Awards
Widely celebrated as one of the most structurally robust and sun-tolerant golden maples introduced to modern horticulture
